Hey Guys!! Here is an beautiful craft work for you. Have you ever wondered that what you see in real that you can make with paper. I’m going to make a paper pond with some fishes, flowers & leaves.
Read the full post properly and make your own pond.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

1) Thick paper to make the base

2) Foam Paper of 3 mm width

3) Colour Paper
4) Acrylic colour
5) Paper cutter, pencil, scissor, Red pen
6) Tracing Paper
7) Transparent cover
8) Oil pastel colour
9) Glue
10) Stryofoam/Thermocol

HOW TO DO:

First of all draw the picture on a paper so that you can trace the image perfectly. According to base size, draw a square and then draw.
1. Cut out a thick paper of size 10×10 cm. This is your base for pond.

2. Take a foam paper & cut it of size 0.5 cm and fix it on the cardboard.

3. To make small pebbles, take a stryofoam and take out the small parts of it.

4. Fix them in different places on the base part.

5. Apply yellow & blue oil pastel on the base.
Then apply blue acrylic colour with little water.

This is done because when you’ll apply acrylic colour then the area where oil pastel is used, it’ll not get coloured.

6. Colour the pebbles with black, red colour. Then apply green colour on the sides of the pebbles.

7. Trace the outline of the fish and then transfer it on paper & cut it out. For this use thick paper. Click here to know the technique for tracing & transferring the image.

8. Again trace it’s body parts design and transfer it on orange colour paper & cut it out & fix them on the fish.

9. Using red pen, draw lines on the tail & draw scales on it’s body.

10. For fin,cut a thick paper and then cut orange colour paper and fix it on fish.

11. Attach this fish on the base part and again colour with acrylic colour but without water.

Now attach transparent cover over the base.

12. Again trace the outline of the fish & transfer it on a thick paper and cut it out.

13. For scales of fish, take different colour paper and cut it in semi circle shape. I’m showing you only of red colour. Do the same with other colours.

14. Fix all the colour paper on the fish.

Like this cut papers for gill & fins. Make fringes on fins. After this fix all of them on fish.

15. Now cut out red Paper for tail, make fringes and join it to the fish and then glue the fish over the transparent cover.

Like this I’ve made another fish.

16. Cut green colour paper for grass & Lotus leaf.

17. Take pink paper and cut it in form of Lotus and then apply little pressure in the middle part.

Now fix the fish, leaves & Lotus over the transparent cover.

All done.
Make this beautiful pond with fish and decorate your house.

Beautiful! I just got back from an art festival and there was actually an exhibit quite similar to this, but with glass. I am so happy to see a DIY version I could actually make! 😊👏👏
